Within the framework of the collaborative agreement signed with the Community of Madrid, King Juan Carlos University and the University of Alcal\u00e1 have a specialist collaborator in the Office of the Community of Madrid in Brussels, in order to make better use of European Union financial tools and programmes for R+D and education, and to promote the relationship between the three institutions.
\nThe office\u2019s main activities are: Participation in informative workshops and seminars with the aim of obtaining relevant information on tenders, funding programmes (mainly Horizon 2020) and European R+D+innovation policy; working or bilateral meetings of interest; searching for partners and participation in networking events; alerts about tenders, events, and new items; consultations with the Commission about new items in European funding programmes and tenders; and assistance for researchers about queries on European project participation.<\/p>\n
